My First Batch of Buttons

I’ve always wanted to try to make my own buttons, and last night I was so inspired I couldn’t put it off anymore!

I was just playing around to get a good feel for them… Not bad for my first batch, eh?!  My kids helped

A confession….

I love BUTTONS!!

I love a multitude of colors, shapes, and styles!  A friend gave me these super cute fall themed buttons…

But my all time FAVORITE buttons…..antique!  I love to “garage sale” and get extremely excited to find some cool buttons for CHEAP!  I’m not shy about buying an ugly garment that has cool buttons, just to come home and snip them all off.  The ones in the photo below are off-limits, lol.  I’m hoarding them for my own projects because they are beautiful and hard to find!  I fancy decorative mother-of-pearl and different metals.
